At the end of last term, the students at Three Bridges had the task of designing and creating their very own miniature living spring garden.
They were each asked to choose containers for their garden, then to prepare the ground, add some landscaping, plant some mini plants and add embellishments.
Here are some diary entries from our students:
"This is a picture of my miniature spring garden. I collected stones, sticks and prickles from a beach. I planted cress in my garden. It has a comfy chair, a washing line and a decking area." Mikey
"I am making a miniature spring garden, I planted cress and mint. I showed the school my miniature spring garden, everybody liked it." Quentin
"I chose to make a beach hut out of wooden lollipop sticks. I used a glue gun to stick the wooden pieces together." Ben
"First I weeded my bed, then made two rolling hills. We planted flowers and wrote my name on the flower bed." Kieran
